Greetings.  I am at such peace with the world right now and couldn’t be happier.  It is that special time of year where the festivities begin for our town, and I am deeply excited for the annual carnival to occur in ten days.  I have such vivid memories from last year’s carnival as I took my wife and children to ply games and enjoy the time together in a most wonderful setting.  My kids enjoyed cotton candy, popcorn, riding the Ferris-wheel and Merry-Go-Round, and the live entertainment at the end of the festivities.  The fireworks show is always amazing, but I feel it won’t be the same as my wife is taking the kids to visit their grandparents for the next two weeks.  Fortunately for me, my good friend Montresor has invited me to attend the event with him, and I passionately look forward to enjoying some fine wines and seeing where the night will take us.  Montresor and I have always gotten along well, even in high school, and it is such a gift to have a good friend from my childhood living so close to me now that I have grown up and started a family.  Our days of competing together in athletics and scholastics have never stopped, and I believe it only strengthens our friendship.  Little does he know that I will have him indulge in some fine wines, and hopefully he will see the beauty of viticulture.  I could go on forever about the glory days of Montresor and I, but my time is limited as I have a wine-tasting event to get to.  Till next time friends.
